Increasing Your Success with Hypnosis
Hypnosis works best when you are totally at ease and use headphones. Find a time and space where you can be reasonably sure you will not be disturbed by the telephone or by others interrupting you.
Commit yourself to the experience. If you feel rushed or are trying to “squeeze it in”, it’s probably not the right time. Remember, this is YOUR time to relax and to change your life.
Use the bathroom if necessary, sit in a comfortable chair, recliner or lie down, but be sure you do not put yourself in a position or place where you will probably fall asleep. While you can gain benefits from hypnosis while sleeping, guided hypnosis is most effective when you actively hear the suggestions and participate with your imagination.
Always use headphones. Using headphones helps you focus your attention on the suggestions with less distractions.
Each time you listen you will grow more comfortable with the process - relaxing more easily, more deeply and more quickly. For best results, listen to the recording each day for 30 days. The more often you listen, the faster the results. After 30 days, listen to the recording once a week for the next 4 to 6 months. This is to firmly reinforce those positive suggestions permanently into your subconscious mind for lasting change.
Remember, it took time to develop belief systems and unhealthy habits. Although it is possible to remove them with just one listening, it is unlikely. Especially if those beliefs and habits have deep roots. Be kind to yourself but be persistent.
